Lions Bay is a small village in British
Columbia, deep in a rain forest, nestled at the base of the Coastal
Mountain Range on Howe Sound, offering a magnificent view of the Pacific
Ocean. There are 400 homes hidden in the woods and close to 1,800 people
living here.
We have a small open-concept
Kindergarten to grade three school, a fire hall, an ambulance service, a City Hall with our own mayor and four
councilors, a marina, a beach, a small cafe and a general store that has everything we
might need including soft ice cream, video rentals and merchandise made by our own local
artisans.
We have writers, artists and
musicians who hide here, away from the hustle-bustle of the big city. The serenity and
peacefulness of Lions Bay allows even the most uncreative to be inspired.
Every home is unique - some have patches of garden, some have grassy yards, ponds, expansive decking and some have just the
natural setting of the forest floor.
