Paul

Paul at the Sound Studio

My husband, Paul, has been in business for himself for as long as I've known him. He is a storyteller. He is an envisioner. He is a producer. He is a writer. He is a creative director. He is a musician. He is a renaissance man.

He is also a dreamer.
Unlike most dreamers in this world who only dream and wish it could be, he dreams and does what he can to make it a reality.

He helps his clients look into the future to first imagine and then describes how their company, their product, their service or their rough ideas could or should appear, feel and behave for all those who come in contact with it in years to come.

He loves his work. The time he spends, the dedication, the faith in himself, his trust in his staff are essential ingredients to running a successful business. But more importantly, as Paul often says, you simply have to have a 'passion' for what you're doing.

And he has the passion.
Paul
Paul's offices at Envisioning and Storytelling are located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean in West Vancouver, B.C. The office depicts Paul's personality. It's a two-story building with copper roof. The ceilings are high and give the feeling of 'spaciousness'. Light pours through all the windows.

On the second level, the large deck outside the side entrance faces the ocean. It is a place where staff and clients can break from work and sit on Adirondack chairs or around a picnic table and smell the salt air or feel the sun. A place to recharge drained batteries.

The conference table for envisioning and meetings is located in, of all places, the office kitchen. Because simply put, as we all know, the best and most productive conversations take place around the kitchen table. Vases of fresh flowers, bowls of seasonal fruit, the scent of fresh-perked coffee. All these promote a creative environment and the comfy feeling of 'home'.
The offices are decorated with Native art, masks and folk art. There is a pleasant mix of antiques and modern furnishings in the offices.
The theater is the one room with a door. It's a dark, cool room with a built-in chesterfield, a sound system, and multiple screens for viewing the 'shows'. A place where clients are able to visually experience...
...the dreams.
